The Parents' Association
The Parents' Association has dual roles in the School:
-
Arranging programs and activities that bring parents into the School community.
-
Raising funds to provide benefits and facilities for the School that would not be funded by fees.
Each year, the group hosts the Annual Welcome Drinks, an event for all parents held in Term One. They also organise the Annual Trivia Night, as well as cater for other events throughout the year including Open Day and Carols at Camberwell.
The Parents' Association has funded music bursaries and School prizes; equipment for classrooms and sport; music, leadership and reading programs; and upgrades to computer facilities and School amenities.
Evening meetings are held once a month at the School. These meetings are attended by the Principal and provide the opportunity for the committee to represent parent issues. The Parents' Association also has a representative on the School Council.
