Debating and Public Speaking

Debating and Public Speaking are both popular and successful activities in the English curriculum. In addition to this, girls are able to participate in both House and School Debating Competitions. During these competitions girls develop their skills in refining an argument, rebuttal, impromptu speaking and rhetoric.
Teams are also entered in:
- The Debators’ Association of Victoria (DAV) interschool competition
- Victorian Curriculum Assessment Authority (VCAA) Public Speaking Competition
- Legacy Public Speaking Competition
