Early Learning Centre

Our Pre-Prep 3 and Pre-Prep 4 programs offer a lively blend of developmental play based preschool activities. These are supported by more structured early literacy and numeracy tasks. Specialist subjects such as music, physical education, library and art are integrated into the program. This is a major benefit of the ELC being part of the Junior School.  Children of this age are spontaneously open to new experiences and our Pre Prep children are challenged and extended as they explore a rich curriculum.
The Pre-Prep 3 program has a part time or full time option, while the Pre Prep 4 program is full time.  
Pre-Prep 3 children are required to be 3 years old prior to 31 January.
Throughout the year, Pre-Prep 4 children spend time working on projects with Prep students. This may be in the computer laboratory or in the Discovery Centre.  During Term 4, the Pre-Prep 4s attend Junior School Assemblies and spend time in the Prep classroom. These activities help them to become familiar with some of the expectations and routines of school life and assists in making a seamless transition into Prep.  They not only enter Prep with confidence, but they are at ease in the environment. They already know the teachers and other students and the layout of the School is familiar because they have participated in specialist lessons.

Pre-Prep 4:  9.00am – 3.00pm
