Years 3 and 4: Expanding Horizons

The Year 3 and 4 program recognises that children have a growing understanding of different lifestyles, values and beliefs.  The program introduces studies of various countries and cultures in order to complement the girls' emerging understanding that they are members of a world that is wider than their family or local community. Specialist teachers introduce various subjects into the curriculum.

Global Connections - global awareness and tolerance is developed by using information technologies to communicate with children world-wide. Tolerance and respect are developed through joint projects and an emerging world-view helps the students to engage in happy, meaningful connections.
