Careers

We employ a Careers Counsellor who plays a vital role in assisting students to identify their interests and strengths and discover pathways to future careers. A Careers Newsletter with current information is emailed weekly to every student in years 10-12.  Once students enter Year 9, they work with the Careers Counsellor to help them prepare for future careers.
 Year level initiatives include:
 Year 9
Students participate in Tertiary Experience Week, which involves hands-on activities at a variety of Tertiary Institutions.

Students develop resumes and learn different interview skills and techniques to prepare them for a week long work experience placement. Throughout the year, four Careers breakfasts are held.
